Dear Reader,

Our first time “Shakespeare in the park” at Rochester’s Municipal Park was a smashing success this past summer!

Now after a brief reprieve, we welcome you back to the wonderful, magical world of Full Impact Theater’s (FIT) production of ”The Philadelphia Story”. Performances are Friday, Nov., 16 at 7 pm, Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2 pm and 7 pm, and Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 pm.

With cooler temps in the forecast, our stage moves indoors to the OPC – a classy, relaxed, friendly atmosphere at 650 Letica Drive, Rochester, Mi. 48307.

The setting is 1939 in Philadelphia’s privileged upper class. After a brief romance, diva Tracy Lord is on the verge of her second marriage to dull business tycoon George Kittredge when her dashing and witty ex-husband C.K. Dexter Haven shows up unexpectedly on the eve of the wedding.

OMG, dear reader, hang on tight, the fun is just beginning.

If you want to keep up with me, I suggest you rev up on caffeine…and I don’t mean a little.

If you are wondering what  a “fun through” is, it is a fun rehearsal that our cast  earned because they have been so AWESOME at their rehearsals.

They could say their lines  in any fashion they wanted.  So some were silly, others dramatic and others sang their lines opera style.  Imagine that.  Shakespeare opera style.

Our rehearsals have been drawing a LOT of onlookers!
